OUR PASTOR
Pastor Marlon McDuffie was installed as Lead Pastor of The Word Center on December 3, 2023. He is a humble and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the will of God. Pastor McDuffie is a man who loves God, God’s people, and God’s word.
He enjoys family time, relaxing, reading and learning whatever he can to share with others. He enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and simplicity at every opportunity that avails
without compromise.
In October of 2004 Marlon met “His Rib”. On July 1, 2006, they Exchanged vows before Christ. God blessed them with their only child, a son Daylen McDuffie. Mrs. Gwen McDuffie is a woman of very few words. She is comfortable in her calling to serve others and bring joy to everyone she meets. Mrs. Gwen enjoys watching Andy Griffith with her husband, watching hunter X with her son, loving on her family and daily conversations with her mom.
